Harts Cove -- Waterfront Room for Rent
The Place: The condo is in the Harts Cove complex, waterfront, and on the top floor with vaulted ceilings. It is a three bed / three bath unit. Only one bed/bath is available to rent for $600 per month. All utilities are included because that's how... it should be. The room in question comes semi-furnished (negotiable) and has a great view of green foliage in the summer and the lake during wintertime. Harts Cove amenities include a community pool, game room, exercise room, basketball court, and access to Lake Hartwell. If you are interested in keeping a boat docked at the condo, Harts Cove offers dock spots for a monthly fee. Harts Cove has parking spots for residents in addition to its own shuttle bus that travels to and from Clemson. Though it is in Seneca, the condo is just across the bridge from Clemson and is a very short drive to the university. Driving, biking, or taking the shuttle are all good ways to reach campus, but it would be a rather uncomfortable walk.
The People: I'm Joey and have lived here for the past few years as an undergrad. I co-own the place and manage the property. As of December 19th, I will be a Clemson alum and my room will thus be free. Your roommates would be one female and two males (one undergrad in economics and the other a masters student in fisheries). Everyone tends to keep to themselves and the neighbors in Harts Cove have not been disruptive at all.
Misc: 1. Furnishings -- ideally, I'm taking the TV and bed with me. If you absolutely need the bed to stay, let me know and we'll work it out. 2. Pets -- personally not a fan of having critters scratch paint and tear up furniture, but if it's cute enough we can work something out. 3. Lease Term -- totally negotiable. Let me know when you need to move in / leave and we'll make it work.
